Make these snacks readily available and easy to grab over any alternate choice, but don’t just stick a bowl of nuts on your kitchen counter and think that’s going to help you stay healthy or lose weight.
Eating too much fruit is easily too much sugar and calories for any diet.
Eating too much broccoli or green beans, for example, can translate directly into “carb loading” for your body as many vegetables are higher in starches. Starches = carbs.
Need to keep snacking? Keep a list of “negative calorie” options that you can literally eat all day long without it being a problem. These options would be things like celery or most lettuce.
Need to add a little flavor? Go back to some of those first habits you created! Use vinegar and herbs. You don’t need anything else. Enjoy your food.
